Inspired by the light bulb, the concept brings back a feeling of warmth and energy to the night, translating the character of large-scale productions into more intimate spaces and creating an atmosphere that feels nostalgic, energetic, and alive.
As the sale of light bulbs has been banned, the word itself is gradually disappearing from the Dutch language. Rather than seeing this as an ending, gloeilamp treats it as an opportunity to give the word a new meaning and relevance.

Using glass over the filament makes the posters readable and finishes the light bulb look. This in combination with carefully picked typography and micro-graphics is the foundation of Gloeilamp's visual identity.
